The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Court Services Manager, the Bilingual POA Coordinator will coordinate the day to day activities of the Court, including responding to telephone, email, counter inquiries, scheduling trials and early resolutions, responding to complaints and the monitoring of files You will be responsible for the administering of parking facilitation requests at the counter.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly organized professional with a post-secondary degree/diploma in Court Services or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of related experience in a legal environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give, obtain and/or exchange routine information. We are seeking an individual with superior attention to detail who demonstrates customer service excellence that reflects Caledon’s quality standards and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

This individual will be the point of contact for all applications, reopenings and other correspondence being submitted to the Justice of the Peace. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to handle/resolve difficult situations in a professional manner utilizing knowledge of legislation, by-laws, policies and procedures.
This position offers a salary range of $57,000 – $67,000 plus a competitive benefit package.

Notwithstanding the above, candidates who do not fulfill all of our requirements may be considered in a Development Status capacity. Satisfactory passing of a vulnerable sector check, and proof of qualifications will be required of any successful candidate(s) for this position.
