Job Overview


Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Planning, Development, and Legislative Services will act as a member of the senior management team involved in the formulation and execution of the Town’s strategic plan as it relates to Planning, Building, By-law, and Legal and Regulatory Services. The successful applicant will have a post-secondary degree in law with expertise in all aspects of municipal law as well as post-secondary education in engineering or planning. A professional designation in either field is an asset. Candidates must possess 10 to 15 years’ progressive experience in a municipal environment.
