The Township of Puslinch is seeking applications for the full-time position of Deputy Clerk. This challenging opportunity will appeal to a motivated, cooperative individual who is committed to working in a dynamic atmosphere.

As a key member of the Administration Team, you will report to the Municipal Clerk. Your expertise and direction will prove an asset in managing the Township’s Record Management program, the Freedom of Information program, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act requirements, acts of Coordinator of the Township’s Health & Safety Program and all statutory duties set out in the Deputy Clerk role, including Municipal Elections.

You possess a degree/diploma from a recognized Public Administration program or related discipline, and five (5) years of related and demonstrated experience in a Municipal setting, with three (3) years’ experience at a supervisor level. Extensive knowledge of applicable legislative requirements required.

You are an excellent communicator whose strength is in your ability to influence decisions and effect change. An Ability to handle matters of a confidential or politically sensitive nature and to maintain confidentiality is an expectation of this position.

The annual salary range is $72,363 to $84,648, with a comprehensive benefit package.
